Addon Domain

In order to successfully add an add on domain to your account, you firstly need to make sure that you have added our nameservers (2 would suffice) to the domain you intend to use as an add on with through your registrars portal. Be note, you should allow at least 24 hours to elaspse so that DNS propagation can take place.

Our nameservers are;

The procedure for adding an Add-on Domain is as follows:
1. Log into your cpanel account.
2. Select Addon Domain under the Domains section.
3. Enter the details requested on the following screen. The creation of a new FTP user is optional and can be skipped.

That is it.
After this, so long as propagation has been given enough time to complete, your addon domain will be functional.
If propagation has not completed or you have not changed the nameservers at your registrar, you will be met by an error message. This is normal and due to our DNS zone not recognising your domain as a member of the zone yet. In this case allow more time for propagation.

If you do not know how to change your nameserver details, you can either contact your registrar's support to assist you with this or you can contact HostDoc's support to complete from our end. You will need to provide us with the domain name and nameserver the domain is currently pointing to.
